How to Put Barlines in Some Measures but Not In Others
Hello Musescore Forums!
I'm working on a composition for class and I'd like to have no bar lines in the first part of this piece but bar lines in the second part. However, when I try to take bar lines from the first part, it also takes bar lines from the second part, and visa versa. Is there some command I'm missing? Are my measures grouped weird or something?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Tools > Measures > Join selected measures
Or select the barlined and make them invisble

That's not as good though, as it still leaves the space for them, which creates irregular spacing that interferes with the ability to read rhythms. Joining measures is usually the better method.
