Automatic Page Layout Question
Hi,
Trying to get my score to settle up nice and neat at the end of page 6. Attaching two screenshots. The first has min staff distance at 10.0 and the score ends at the top of page 6. When I increase min staff distance to 10.5, page 6 spreads out the two systems to the top and bottom of the page with all that space in the middle, and the end lyric gets moved to page 7. Is there a way to get rid of the empty space between the measures on page 6, so that the end text stays on the bottom and the page feels full?
Thanks

Almost certainly it's possible, but we'd need to see the actual score, not just pictures, in order to advise better. Usually, the best answer is to add breaks so each page is more or less equally full. You shouldn't be messing with a min distance as a way of faking this. 10 sp is way too big for min staff distance; it should be left small and let MsueScore add more space as necessary, and then you can also add breaks as necessary to spread things out further.
