Add new instrument part to existing score?
Am I missing something obvious? My band just added an alto sax player, and I want to write such a part into a lot of our existing scores which now have trumpet clarinet trombone tuba voice and banjo. I want the alto part to be in a separate staff in the full score when printed, & also to print the alto part by itself.

Press "I" to open the Instruments window, then add your new alto sax. You can then create a separate part for the alto and print that. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/create-new-score#add-instruments and https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/parts.
