Inserting notes to the middle of a measure and pushing existing notes to the next measure
The attached graphic shows what I'm trying to do, without adding measures. I just want to add notes in the middle of a measure and push the notes after the insertion point to the next measure and carry this process throughout.
The documentation didn't suggest a way to quite do this. Any ideas?

MuseScore doesn't really support such a workflow.
The closest match would be to look into using insert mode and once done "inserting", using cut & paste and/or reapply the time signature to restore "normal" barlines.

Yes. I'm afraid those are my my only options. This whole mess started when (in my mind) the melodic flow worked better in cut-time than in 3/4 :-)
