Multimeasure rests
Guys,
How come I can't get the first few measures of this chart to show as 4 bars of rest.... multimeasure rest
I went into Format/Style and clicked "create Multimeasure rests" but no result.
What am I missing?

Post the MuseScore file (.mscz).

You can't make a multimeasure rest because there are notes in the piano and bass parts. (Edit) If you mean in the individual instrument parts, those four measures have the "Exclude from measure count" property set in the measure properties menu. Undoing that will allow them to be grouped together.
