Missing Telemetry option in Microsoft Store version of Musescore?
Hello, the .exe version of Musescore 3.6.2 has a popup asking whether you want to enable telemetry or not. In Preferences there is also an option to enable or disable telemetry. In the Microsoft Store version, this popup and preferences option does not exist.
So does the Microsoft Store version has telemetry on or off by default? Also, how do i change this setting?

Thanks for the quick reply. I did not check the version of Microsoft Store Musescore (because one would normally expect version parity).
For the (outdated) Microsoft Store version telemetry indeed is disabled, this is a Microsoft requirement apparently

And actually, the telemetry option wasn't even added until 3.4. Perhaps the need to make a special version that disables this is part of why the MIcrosoft Store version was never updated?

Ah, yes! (to the first part, not sure about the second though, turning off telemetry should be an easy config option)

Telemetry is disallowed for a software wishing to be considered for Microsoft Store?
Hmm... I guess Microsoft does not condone software telemetry being used surreptitiously... wink, wink ;-)

That was an assumption of mine. Might be wrong. But for sure other Phone Home things are not allowed, like Check for Update, these had to get disabled for that version
