Can't get 6 string Bass E-E tuning tablature to work
I took the existing 6 string bass which is B-C tuning and edited the strings so that I had E - E tuning. (See attachment)
Created this tablature (see attachment), entered an A note and it inputs it as an E on the high string.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong or is this a bug?

How are you entering the A note?
I seem to just be able to type it in, either as a number on the tab string as I wish or by enabling a linked staff and using standard staff note input.
For example:
1. Go into note input
2. Press down arrow twice to select 3rd string
3. Type 2
Result: an A3 is added to the staff, which seems to all match up with the staff properties tuning that string as G3.
You need to read:

and understand that when entering notes in TAB most folk enter the number of the fret that is pressed by the finger.
If you prefer, you can type letters, but A=0, B=1, C=2, etc. These letters are not note names.
To enter note names...
Set up a linked Standard staff, then enter note names as pitches A, B, C, etc. onto the Standard staff. This will translate correctly onto the linked TAB staff.

Ah, good call, I wouldn't have thought of that even though I was just yesterday updating the Handbook page for MuseScore 4 to mention these. You might think its odd for "A" to mean something other than the note A, but it's important to note that tablature has a long history, and for much of it, letters were used the way numbers are now - as fret indicators, not note names. So MuseScore supports to simplify entry of historical tablature.
