How to gradually make a sustained violin note softer?
I was testing something and found out if you try to dim (diminuendo) a sustained violin note (basically two notes connected by a line) if won't actually dim it, nothing happens can I somehow fix this?
On the img I posted if you try to play that in musecore it won't actually get softer how do fix this?

I tried doing that already and the problem is it doesn't get softer fast enough

also I tried doing it again and I can hardly hear it get softer

on the score you posted I can't hear it get softer. Or actually maybe it has to do with my soundfont? I use timbres of heaven

ok so I played it with the normal soundfont and it works but I really want to use the HQ orchestral soundfont for my violins (its the plural instrument not the normal one)

Yes, it does, the soundfont needs to support single note dynamics

Sorry, I don't know. I'm just using the default soundfont, or rather the HQ version.
