unwanted quarter rest
I have a measure that has put a quarter rest in and therefore I can not put all the notes in the measure.
How do I get rid of the unwanted quarter rest?

It may be helpful to understand that rests are not "things", they are representations of the ABSENCE of things. To "get rid of the rest", simply select it and enter a note by choosing a pitch value (A-G). If something more complicated is going on, please attach your score so we can understand what you are asking for help with.
