Musescore 4.0.0 crashing upon clicking
Every time I open up a file on Musescore 4 and I do so much as click on the sheet to place a note down, it immediately crashes. I don't know why it does this but it just does, and it's quite annoying because I want to be able to use the new Musescore version.

There is no 4.0.0 release yet.
There is a beta expected "soonish" and as per the alpha release notes you are encouraged to first verify the crash on a current nightly and if still existing to report it on github. Make sure to include the reproduction steps and/or file.
Reporting issues for MuseScore 4 (taken from the Alpha 2 announcement):

The new version is not yet released for general consumption. The beta version is expected soon. The release candidate will follow after that.
