Chromebook - Paste Lyrics
Hi everyone - is there any special trick to copy/paste lyrics in Chromebook ? When I press Ctrl V (after having copied lyrics to clipboard) nothing happens.
Any help gratefully received.

Chromebook should be no different in this respect.
But if you're trying to paste the lyrics as lyrics, make sure that you're first in Lyrics entry mode. Because what you copied is now plain text (due to the copy to clipboard function).

If you mean, you are trying to do the thing where you pre-type the entire lyric in a text editor, then copy it, then paste it one syllable at a time in lyrics edit mode, I can confirm this doesn't work on my Chromebook either. I kind of thing it might be broken on Linux in general since it's extremely rare to find a bug that exists on Chromebook only and not other Linux machines. But it has been known to happen.
But, aside from that special trick of copying from a text editor into MuseScore normal copy/paste works fine. Eg, select one or more existing lyric syllables, Ctrl+C, click a note somewhere, Ctrl+V.

Well yes - it is exactly as you describe and I think you are correct in suspecting a quirk (oh how one hesitates to say the b** word !). But many many thanks for outlining that other technique which I had not tried and which works fine for me.
