accent vs marcato
When testing (the magnificent) Musescore 4 over the last few days, I've found that the marcato is not interpreted by M4 as short, while it was in M3.
I can't find anyone else having reported that on github, so before I do or don't: am I wrong to have understood marcato to be a both accented and shortened note. while a accented note is louder but full length?

At least for now, it's been decided to use the old-style "classical" interpretation where it's louder but not shorter, as opposed to the modern "jazz" interpretation where it is shorter but not necessarily louder. In the future, the plan is to provide controls over this sort of thing.

That's good to know. Big band scores sound a bit weird these days, so I'd love an option to either globally globally or per score change the interpretation of certain articulations. Even if it's for a later update, that would be great!
