Easy way to give every measure a pedal sign
I have imported a midi file and want to make some adjustments. It would greatly help me evaluate the end result if there was a pedal sign in every measure. Is there an easy way of doing this?
I tried to fill an empty sheet with grand staff and pedal signs every measure, but copying the notes into it, The pedal signs were removed again.

Not an easy way to just do the whole thing, no. Normally that wouldn't quite be correct anyhow, because the pedal needs to extent to the first note of the next measure to be smooth. Otherwise you end up with weird gaps between measures. So you really need to select the measure plus the first note of the next measure before clicking the "\______/" line in the palette.
