MS4 optimization issue

I downloaded MS4 yesterday and got all the Muse Hub stuff to run it at its full potential. Unfortunately, the scores seem to crash, clip and lag when I try to playback it, either if it is using MS predetermined sound font or if it's using Muse Hub sound fonts.
My equipment specifications are:
CPU: Intel i5- 3230M 2.6GHz
GPU: GEFORCE GTX 660M 2GB
RAM: 8GB
OS: Windows 10

Any help improving the optimization would be great. In another case, I hope developers can continue getting MS4 optimized. It's a great composing/music production software, and I would love to have the chance to use it without having these issues.
