Musescore 4 Randomly freezing
I just downloaded musescore 4, and every few minutes I am typing or clicking something, musescore will freeze for a few seconds, and go back to normal. This rarely happened in my musescore 3.6. I hope they fix this glitch since it is very frustrating when composing.

Could be the auto-save kicking in.

I think it might be. This is happening to me as well. Maddening and makes it completely unusable. I have disabled the auto-save but every time I ctrl-S (Windows) I get the spinning beach ball of doom for something like 20 seconds - a really long time. This didn't happen on MuseScore 3.

FWIW, I've had a similar problem for a long time with v3.62, on several different platforms, except it never comes back. Eventually I just terminate MuseScore.exe. I have tried factory reset: -F, now I'm trying turning Auto-Save off per the above. Will report back ...
