Musescore 4 playback engine - master channel compression

I am incredibly impressed with the sound of the new playback engine. The expression and the overall experience is amazing. I feel though it could be easily stepped up further - I am experiencing some fairly harsh compression/limiting in the sound through the master channel and I feel the need to tame this somewhat. For instance in the orchestral demo, the frame drums are punching holes in the rest of the orchestral mix - it sounds very limited and 'capped' as far as dynamic range goes. I would very much like the ability to mix my own playback sound and not be limited by the inaccessible settings that seem to be hidden in the master channel with no ability for the user to change them. Any ideas?
