Jazz Articulations and Scoops/Falls

So I've started doing my jazz arrangements in Musescore 4, and although 4 adds playback for scoops and falls, it quite frankly, sounds like complete dogwater, and I wish I could toggle off the effect. I can select the scoop/fall from the inspector, but I can't toggle the sound off from it the same way I can with turns, instead it toggles the whole note off.
Also, the Marcato accent seems to be completely nonfunctional now, with it having seemingly the same note value as a normal note.
Is this all known, and is there a way to fix this?
