  1. Open MuseScore and expand window into fullscreen
  2. Show mixer, and choose any VST FX
  3. The plugin will briefly open and then close, and desktop is shown afterwards

Workaround:
1. Open MuseScore without using fullscreen
2. Show mixer, and choose any VST FX
3. VST window will open normally
4. Fullscreen can be enabled, and VST window will still be visible
