Where are the instructions?

I am fairly new to Musescore so things are not obvious to me. In general instructions seem hard to find or lacking in clarity and detail. For example:
• I can find no simple direct instructions about how to install a VST3. There is a dialog under Preferences/General/Folders/VST3/ but there is no path. What is that?
• The Home/Plugins page has several disabled plugins. I enabled Color Notes. It's easy enough to assume what that does but there are no instructions about how to access or use them. Under Menu/Plugins there is now a Color Notes item when clicked shows Color Notes again but it does nothing.
• I select some notes and right-click select edit element and nothing happens.
• The ability to color notes is already available under Properties/General/Appearance/Color... so what is the Plugin for? What does it do?
• I have found the same problem with the HUB. There are items available but no descriptions of what they are, what they do, or how to use them.
Musescore 4 is an impressive program, however, from my perspective it seems the people writing this are so familiar with what happens they neglect to consider those of us for whom this is totally new. We need simple, easy to access, intuitive instructions
