Rewind to start position - Keyboard Shortcut
I searched the Edit/Preferences/Shortcuts and don't see a Keyboard shortcut for 'Rewind to start position'.
Is this possible or is it still a work in progress?

Thank you jeetee. However, the action seems un-editable in the shortcut menu.

Strange, seems available over here.
Try reverting to factory defaults from within the MuseScore Help menu

I agree .. Very strange..
Using Windows 10 and Musescore 4.. Checked and no updates available.
I reset the preferences as you suggested.. Hence the white background.
Are you using a night build version on a Mac or something?

Our preference menu is slightly different too

Windows 10 here as well.
Not having Cloud there seems to indicate you're not running the 4.0.0 release version, but a self-built or test version instead.
If you go to Help > About then this is the version information the copy button should provide you with:
OS: Windows 10 Version 2009, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.0-223472200, revision: 5485621

Well.. That could jolly well explain it! Thank you jeetee.
I was under the impression that clicking the Help/Check for updates would update every version whether experimental or not. Looks like it reads 'Version 4 installed' and in effect says 'Sorry about your luck' Lol.
Thanks to you I now know to look for revision: 5485621
Only thing is.. I just see a load of bemusing (to me), coding on that link So I'll try uninstalling altogether and start again.
Thanks again for solving this one.
Merry Christmas

That link is made automatically by the .org forum. It's the version of the code that was used to build the release from.
abc123446 is indeed a placeholder version used for development builds.

Ah ok. I got the Rewind to work on a shortcut, though clicking the rewind or deploying the shortcut doesn't immediately move the slider to the beginning in the Playback control panel or show the blue traveling line at the beginning of the score. Instead it appears at the beginning momentarily after hitting play/spacebar before carrying on.
I'm sure it will be ironed out in future versions. So glad to have this set up now.
Thank you jeeteee.
MS4 has a rewind button, but while it resets the playback to the beginning of the score, it does not bring the displayed score back to the beginning. I found that I can do that by pressing Home on the keyboard. Is there a reason to have these functions separated?
