So, I've been testing out the new MuseScore 4, and i have some issues with it.

So, all turned out pretty well, but as the time goes on, some of the rests on one particular bar starts to add on its own, even though it isn't supposed to be there. For example, on my attached file, you can see that there are lots of bars in the Violin section, and possibly others, that don't make sense. (there's more than 4 counts in a 4/4 bar??) But when i try to erase the rest, the rest of the notes follow.

I don't know if this happens to other people.

I have the same issue. Can't get rid of these extra rests, I lose notes randomly and the program crashes. So far, Musescore 4 has been an absolute nightmare. I cannot reliably use it to compose or notate music. What a disaster!

I am not sure what Musescore is actually doing. I filed a ticket with them, but then realised this is a widespread issue and everyone is complaining about the crashes, but Musescore is leaving us to figure it out by ourselves. Haven't seen much response or support from them yet.
