STRUGGLING WITH PLAYBACK; IS IT THE REPEAT THAT'S CAUSING THE PROBLEM?

Hello Everyone,
I am pretty versatile with MS 3.6.2; however switching to MS 4 has been a struggle. I want to master MuseScore 4 for the sake of better instruments/playback. I entered in a simple Clementi Minuet to try it out; however playback jumps to the end of the piece or to clef change, then kind of jams and plays on top of itself. The piece has repeats; is that the problem? Somebody help.
