Numpad not working to change note length in edit mode

1.) Enter note edit mode. Quarter note length is preselected.
2.) Press "4" on numpad to set note length to eights (or press any other numpad key)
3.) The numpad keys have no effect. In MS 3, they changed the note length accordingly.

Workardound: use normal number keys.

Hint: the dot key in numpads works as expected.
