Playing part vs all instruments - suggestion for a keyboard shortcut

So when making an orchestral piece, to play an instrument you click on a specific instrument, but to play the whole ensemble you click on any note or rest. I am suggesting making this easier for some by adding another option to instead use keyboard shortcuts, where 'space' plays the whole ensemble and 'shift-space' plays just the part, or something like that.
