Soundfont

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to produce a song in GarageBand, but I’m not happy with the built-in string soundfonts—they sound a bit too fake and unrealistic. I was wondering if anyone knows how to transfer the MuseHub string sound font from MuseScore into GarageBand. I’ve tried composing in MuseScore and then exporting it as an audio file into GarageBand, but that’s not efficient for my workflow. I’d much prefer to input the notes directly in GarageBand, rather than constantly importing new recordings for every change. If anyone knows how to make this work, I’d really appreciate the help!

Thanks in advance!

Not possible. It’s a completely unique filetype only the muse sampler installed with muse sounds can read.
The best you can do is find a vst or sfx file sampled from Muse Sounds and load them into GarageBand.
I wish this were a thing too, but you could record a midi in Audacity, put it into Musescore, and then export it to audio and use it in GarageBand. It’s a lot of steps though.
