Better Portamento?
Whenever I add a portamento glissando to a score, it sounds awful, especially with several glissandos. Is there some fix or soundfont that I can use to make the portamento sound passable?

By selecting the 'glissando', in the inspector you can change the 'style' of the playback or cancel the execution of the effect.

How do you access the inspector? If it is the properties tab, then that is not what I'm searching for. I still want the glissando to be portamento; I just want it to sound like something that isn't bad. I think the piano has a better portamento glissando, it is just that every instrument sounds bad

Sorry, but I don't think there's anything else you can do with Musescore right now. If it turns into something like a DAW (Cubase, Reaper, Studio One, etc.) in the future maybe you can 'customize' the 'glissando'.
