MS4 Breath mark question
Why is the breath mark adding time to the music instead of just giving a breath to a specific note without affecting the song rhythm? Or am I missing something here?

I think it's because the duration of breath mark is a property of the breath mark itself - in other words, that duration is not a value which is subtracted from the previous note. AFAIK it has always worked like that in previous versions of MuseScore.

In other words, this feature is useless, if I just needed to shorten the notes this way, or, as a turn around, I’d have to change the note values in order to hear the effect of breath between the phrase, making it a little difficult for a musician to read the music in a more proper fashion.
