I had some corruption and exported it to mxml and opened in Musescore 3 to find the corruption. Fixed that and the file opens cleanly. For some reason a lot of the first note of a measure was deleted.
In measure 398, there are a series of B whole notes. Whether I select 1 or select many and press T or the Tie button, it crashes. I open Musescore 4.0 again and resume the session and try again. Same results.
Also, not this issue...
If I enter a note, say E and press the down arrow, I shouldn't get D# regardless of key signature.

Copying the line and pasting it into a new file resolves the issue.
Exporting the broken and working files to mxml and doing a diff doesn't show anything that looks like an error. midsummer1 is broken. Untitled score1 allowed me to make the ties.
