How can I get this to work? (adding a whole note to a measure, without it deleting everything else)
I'm trying to get musescore to stop deleting the whole measure when I try adding a whole note, but no matter what I try, it still does it. (Sorry for my poor illustration)

My poor illustration is What I want to do, but it isn't letting me. (This is for piano)
I belive you need to use a different voice to be able to do this. You can switch to Voice 2 in the toolbar, the icon with a note and the number 2.
