Automatic sound device switching not possible

Hi awesome developers!!
i'm loving the new Musescore 4, only one thing that is a bit weird.

when i unplug my headphones and play something, then i get my playback over the PC speakers.
then when i place my headphones back in. they continue to go over the main pc speakers and don't switch anymore until after starting up again with the headphones plugged.

can you fix this? thanks!
