Piano notes ring out indefinitely
Since Laissez Vibrer was added, (or before, I haven't used Musescore in almost half a year) every note which isn't specificaly Staccato, rings out fully. It seems to be no longer possible to play notes with their given length.

Rings out fully? please post a score. What version of MuseScore are you using?

I'm using version 4.4.4
Basicaly, every piano note gets held down, at least until the next one gets played, ignoring all pauses. (Sometimes they get held beyond, meaning there are multiple notes ringing at once. The once played before are still audible, even though they should have stopped ringing by now and new notes are being played)
It's not an error which happens on a specific sheet music, but on every old and new one without exception.
I added a picture as an example. Non of the notes stop being played at the pause. The last three notes ring out well into three bars later, where no notes are being played.
It's almost like there is a glitchy pedal which is always held and acts weirdly.
Also, I believe:
It's even just when clicking on the piano notes in the sheet music now that the note rings longer than usual.

Is your reverb turned up really high?

No, the problem persists even with reverb turned completely off.
As I said, it happens with new and old sheet music.

And as if said, the staccato notes work exactly how they are supposed to.
Am I the only one with that weird bug? I mean it is pretty game breaking.
Should I reinstall something?

"Should I reinstall something?"
Reinstalling won't change anything.
Rather try it out with version 4.5 Beta (portable, it's very good) and let us know how it goes after that:

Or wait another day or 2 for the 4.5.0 Release Candidate

I freshly installed the portable version,
Created a new sheet of music,
placed down a few piano notes,
but they still don't stop ringing when they should :/ ...
I think it's a Musesounds problem
It happens only with the Muse Keys sounds
With actualy every Muse Keys sound,
except the Harpsichord and the Hammond Organ
I originaly wrote a bug report on the Musesounds site,
but they just redirected me to the manual and this Musescore forum and marked my problem as complete

Please attach this new sheet of music (.mscz file, not an image) to understand what's going on.

Where? Do you have a link showing this?

Sure, I attached the file.
And here is the link: https://support.musehub.com/hc/en-gb/requests/5844
I wrote the complaint there, because by now if you click on ''Create new issue'' on GitHub,
there is a category saying ''MuseSounds issue'', which leads to the MuseHub support

The link doesn't work, but it doesn't matter. As for your file, read with 4.5 Beta, I don't hear (with Soft Piano, from Muse Keys) any particular problem with the duration of the notes (I quote, in your first message : "every note which isn't specificaly Staccato, rings out fully").
On the other hand, I do hear a rather unpleasant background noise (with this Soft Piano). It sounds like “breath” in music, "Souffle" in French, but I don't know if the DeepL translation “breath” is really correct here.
Are we talking about the same thing or not?

The link works now
And no, that is not what I mean, as it happens with every piano
I hear the notes ring long past the next two bars and I hear them partly blend into each other in the second bar, but weirdly not in the first one.
But yes, I also hear some weird background noise on some Musesounds instruments at certain dynamics, but I can live with that
I just now uninstalled and reainstaller Muse Keys and it did nothing,
But after uninstalling and reinstalling Muse Keys a second time, the bug fixed itself!
The weird wondrous ways of the IT gods I guess
