importing pdf doesn't include lyrics

I'm trying to import sheet music as pdf's but the lyrics never seem to be imported. Is there a way to fix that?

I'm not surprised. How are you importing them. Perhaps post a PDF page so we can try it.

Use Audiveris directly, on your computer, rather than the PDF import os musescore.com

When using Audiveris on your computer, you might want to read this first:

Lyrics (text) are handled by the open source Tesseract OCR engine. Be sure to install the appropriate language modules in Tesseract in case the lyrics are not English.
Also, check 'Book Parameters' if lyrics are activated.
Unusual text fonts will probably not be recognized.
