Bug? "Play notes when editing" in 4.0.1
I'm seeing (ok, hearing) a difference between v4 and 4.0.1: the play notes while editing feature seems to play the notes all the time, not just while in note editing more. This is annoying to me, for two reasons:
1) I usually use my DAW to generate the the note, and MuseScore is slower - thus, I hear the DAW, and then MuseScore's delayed note; it's rather distracting. Bringing up the mixer and muting the piano, which is what I used to do in v4, doesn't seem to work now. Mute has no effect, I still hear MuseScore's note.
2) I can turn off the "Play notes when editing" feature in the preferences, which then shuts off MuseScore's playing of the note, but I'd like the "play chord while editing" feature, and that is automatically shut off if "play notes while editing" is disabled.
Thanks!

On my system, the setting "Enable MIDI Input" (gear icon, top right of screen) does not operate as a "MIDI Thru" but has a note-length determined by the "Play Notes When Editing > Default Duration" setting in Preferences > Note Input. This may also explain the MIDI latency issues that have arisen in MS version 4 (which did not occur in MS version 3!).
