Musescore 4 -sound playback
When I press space bar to hear the arrangement. I get a lot of static. The file was reated in Musescore 3

attached my file I created in Musecore 3.
Playback was a lot of static with this file in Musecore 4

What OS? Headphones or speakers? Is the Audio device in Edit>Preferences>I/O set to your hardware's device and not Default?How about a restart?

No earphones just the laptop speakers.
The Edit>Preferences>I/O was originally set to "default" changes to what you see in attached file

More things to try. Change that buffer size to 4096.
By "static" you mean stuttering, distorted, and uneven. Rather than "white noise".
