White background to text, so that fingerings are more visible on staff lines
Is this possible? It's tiring to place each fingering manually such that it is next to (or at least close to next to) each notehead and also readable. For instance, 3s must either be placed such that the middle spike is just above a staff line or the upper curl just passes the above staff line.
If it were possible to give these fingerings white backgrounds so that the staff lines simply break there, I'd be able to make this a lot more readable. Given is an example picture, where the font size of 2 has been reduced so that it fits between the lines better.

Sample score?

Here's a measure's exerpt from a score I saw online. It has a nice little border to the numbers so they are easily readable. I do not know what it was written with.

That's not a score, but an image too

I cannot provide a score for something I'm unsure is possible to create. I can only provide images that illustrate a particular style, which, in this case, is easily understood from the image. Providing a score that lacks this feature is not useful either, as one can simply enter a single note onto a staff and see that an added fingering does not have a white background when dragged onto the staff lines.
Hence, I do not appreciate the sarcasm.

There's no sarcasm at all
You sure have the score that created the image in the opening post. I'd like to see that to have something to play withg and try to make it work for you. I'm simply troo lazy to write one myself.

Alright, apologies for the presumption. I've attached the score as-is.

See below. Or
Format > Style > Text styles > Fingering > Frame > Rectangle and Border White, Highlight (a misnomer) White and Aplha 255

Yes, this works. I struggled for a moment with being unable to see the fill in the Style settings, but the problem was indeed that I didn't realise you had to set the alpha channel. This works perfectly, thanks!

That one is for the transparency
A workaround (MS 4.0.1) would be:
Select a number, under Properties/Text/More add a rectangle frame, set border color and fill color to white, set margin to 0. Save as textstyle user-style.

That's pretty good, already. I'd missed that you can actually fill the box (it didn't display a colour then), so I didn't notice this. The only downside is that the width of the box is a minimum of 0.1, which is a little extreme for denser textures. The circular one makes it slightly tighter, but not quite small enough.
Edit: It appears I can edit the individual numberings from the properties tab, but unable to set a default fill colour to the circles in the Style settings. Strange. Will have to play around with this. Because IN the Style settings, you can set the radius to 0.05, which would be perfect. Attached is the settings menu.

I've found the solution.
In Style -> Text Styles -> Fingerings, you must set the highlight option's ALPHA channel to 255 for the colour to be fully opaque. Then, setting radius to 0.05 and margin to 0 gives the effect as shown in the attached image, using circular frames.
