Problems with MS4 sound
I am transitioning to MS4, but having issues with playback sounds. In my mixer, MS Basic appears, but the field is blank when clicked on. No sounds seem to be available. I've tried removing and reloading MS4 with no success at resolving the issue. Imported (MS3 files) and new files both exhibit the same issue EXCEPT with a new file, with Piano and other instruments, the piano shows up in the mixer as Grand Piano, but still nothing else selectable if I click on it.

Have you installed Muse Hub? Have you downloaded instruments via Muse Hub? Can you attach your score so others can see what you're describing? In MS4 I think for non-Muse Sounds instruments, all that will show up for a particular instrument in the Mixer is its name. That's all that MS Basic sounds "need to know" to assign a particular instrument per your choosing.

I installed 1st with Muse Hub, but did not download instruments, as I do not care about fidelity, I only need to hear the different parts. So, the default MS_Basic sounds are perfectly sufficient for me. I also tried installing from a Muse Score 4 installer without the hub. I'm sending you the score along with a screenshot of the mixer.
From the screenshot, you'll see there is onlly a Grand Piano showing, the other instruments just show the sound file (MS_Basic) which, as I said previously, is blank when clicked on (not even Grand Piano shows up) The sound file exists, in both the C:/Program Files/Muse Score 3/Sound : and the C:/Program Files/Muse Score 4/Sound directories. One user (in another post), had the same issue as me, and copied the sound files from the Muse Score 3/Sound directory, renamed them to match the files in the MS4Sound directory and then replace the files in the MS4/Sound directory, resolving his problem. This did not work for me, and I ended up having to reinstall MS4.
