Project
1- Create a new piano score.
2- Use FRENCH chord symbols
2- create a random measure
3- Add a chord by clicking a note and then ctrl/k.
4- Sim/Re, sol/re or any other chord combination with Re in the second part of the chord will not work.

Can you attach such a score?
Actually I can confirm, "sim/re" and "sol/re" do turn into "Sim/ré" resp. "Sol/ré", i.e. with that accent (and root stays in lower case, usually a bad sign, apperently here too), but don't sound as a chord, just as a single note.
"re" alone turns intro "rè" (and stays lower case) and doesn't sound at all.
Best would be to report this on GitHub

Hi,
Thanks for confirming the problem and that you are aware of it.
I hope you'll find a solution soon ( has it something to do with the accent on the "é")?
I don't think it needs an attached score as it is quite clear and simple.
Also, an attached score makes no sound ;-)
Well, but an attached score would sound when downloaded ;-)

I really don't understand.
So you know the problem and you still need an attached score ?!
Is that to delay a solution or to keep the conversation going?
1- Open Musescore 4
2- Type in a chord with a Ré
3- Play it.
That's all there is to it.
Did anybody ever tested Musescore 4 before releasing it?
The list with reported errors is huge.
No thanks, my pleasure
It'd be just easier to reproduce, if you'd provide a sample score, that's all
No it's not.
It's so incredibly simple that even a sample score cannot make it any simpler!
