As documented in the attached testcase, mordents (wrongly short trill, by the way, but this is another issue) seem to always play two semitones above the note they ornament, instead of playing the note diatonically above it.
This is a regression in 4.x (tested with 4.0.1 on MacOS), as 3.6 does not have this issue.

This is still a problem. As previously stated, it always seems to play a whole step (two semitones) above the note. However, neither the "Auto (diatonic)" nor "Minor second" options in properties change the whole step to a half step. This has also been stated previously here: https://musescore.org/en/node/337855 but this report was more focused on the naming problem of Mordents and Short Trills.
