After Crash
Open Musescore 4
Open file "Kristianstads Stadsmusikkår Singaturemelodi"
Go to part Alto Saxophone 1
Go to insturement panel
Expand "Alto Saxophone 1 & 2"
Click settings wheel for "Treble Clef"
Click on check box 2 under "Voices visible in the score" to deselect it.
This has resulted in a crash at least 5 times.
...for note: editing something else and coming back to this does not resolve the issue.
...for note: crashing has been a constant issue for me on musescore 4. However, this is the first time I've recognized a repeatable crash point.
...for note: removing visibility on voice 1 on the Alto Saxophone 2 part was successful.

I am having the same issue - toggling visibility of multiple elements always causes a crash, changing visibility of one element at a time sometimes causes a crash. This occurs in brand new scores and when working on existing files. MuseScore 4.0.1, macOS 13.1, M1 MacBook Air.

An issue with toggling visiblity of elements would be unrelated to one dealing with voices in parts. Please start a new thread and attach the score and precise steps to reproduce that problem.
I have no idea on how to handle issues here, and no time to do it even if learnt, sorry.)
In attached score:
1. [Ctrl + A], in properties panel, click (uncheck) ‘Visible’. Now notes are greyed, dots are still black (and appear in print) but are have ‘Visible’ un-checked.
2. [Crtl + Z]
= Crash
Score is solo viola in 4 voices 9/8, all else unaltered.

Bug “works” with only 1 measure as well, but not with only 1 voice.
I have the same problem when working with multiple voices and then creating individual parts for them. When hiding an element, the MuseScore crashes.

After having tried the latest nightly build, which has many bug fixed in connection with score and parts
