Input Problems with MIDI Keyboard

Hi,
I am new to Musescore 4 (coming from Sibelius). I use a Launchkey Mini from Novation and have a bug.
My Problem is that sometimes when i record notes they appear but sometimes they don't. I refuse to use the mouse for inputting notes. Please help! Thanks <3
