These instructions are for MS 3.6.2:

1. Use a Text line from the Lines palette
2. Set the Text Line Placement property to Below
3. Increase the Line thickness property (maybe to 0.15sp)
4. Set the End hook to "None"
5. Change or remove the Begin text
