Chucks on guitar in compositions
Hi, I was just wondering if there is any way I can add chucks to guitar lines when composing and how I would go about doing it?

I'm not sure what you mean by "chucks", but perhaps you are referring to slash notation? See the Tools menu for options to fill a measure with slashes, or to convert an already-notated rhythm into slashes.

This video, I believe, shows one style of the requested "chucks" in Guitar Pro.

If you mean those X notes then they are available in Musescore.

Hi Yonah,
Yes, those noteheads are available in MuseScore. But in MuseScore 3 they don't produced a "chuck" sound. However they do so by default in Guitar Pro. AFAICT the "chuck" does not playback with MuseScore 3's built-in sounds. Perhaps though with some SoundFonts.
I haven't tested "x" notehead playback in MusesScore 4.
I should have asked the OP if the goal was notational or playback or both.
