entering notes with a midi keyboard
I AM new to Musescore. How do I play the notes in with a keyboard rather than note for note on computer.
I have my midi keyboard connected but i cannot seem to enter notes with it.

Make sure you go to Edit->Preferences and click the I/O tab. There's a drop-down box where you can select your MIDI device after you plug it in - it won't change automatically the first time you do it. If you keep it plugged in, however, it will remember next time you use the program.
As you might be able to tell from my picture, I don't currently have it plugged in to my computer.
I'm pretty sure this isn't possible, though it's something I wish it could do. If anyone else knows otherwise I'd love to hear about it.
