Can't remove rests
I converted a PDF file into Musescore but some bars have more than 4 beats in a 4/4 composition. If I try to erase or change the value of notes, I get rests that refuse to be removed. How can I remove these rests?

In general, it is too frustrating and time-wasting to attempt correction of a score which has been corrupted during optical music recognition (i.e. Import > PDF).
You can try a few things, at your own risk of course:
1. Right-click into an empty space of the bar, then choose Bar Properties. In Bar Properties, make sure that the Actual value matches the Nominal value.
2. Select the last unwanted rest in a bar, then press Ctrl+Delete. This will shorten the bar by the duration of that rest - which may or may not be what you want.
