Altering note beams in a Bach work
I am trying to recreate the beam properties seen in the first attachment, where you have two voices beamed separately and overlapping. What MuseScore gives me is as in the second attachment. Is there a way to alter the beams so that they look like the first attachment?

You will need to use 2 voices, voice 1 for upstem notes, voice 2 for downstem notes. Obviously there must be rests in each voice between the notes, but those rests are a help as you can select the rest and use beam middle from the palette to beam over them (and the note in the other voice). When done you can make the rests invisible.
