Because the measures are too narrow, so the chord symbols are too close to one another

Ok.I would have thought the measures would widen automatically to accommodate the chords, the way it does for notes. I take it I should change the general width of measures. Could you tell me where to find that operation, if it’s not too much trouble?

I see what you mean. I just thought for this particular piece it would be good to enter the chord symbols first. But it sounds like the software wasn’t designed that way. No biggie.

enter some system breaks, like every 4-5 measures
You can use slashes to fill the measure (1 for 1 time) or change the whole rest of ti=his measure for 2 1/2 whole rest (in taping "6" on the whole rest)
