Shortcuts: a lot of changes
Hi all!
MS4 works fine in different situations, but there are a lot of shortcuts which do not work or correspond to the informations in the manual for MS4. Also some of MS3.6 shortcuts don't work anymore.
The shortcut for "toggle accidental:neutral" which is "=" doesn't work, even if I set it as a new shortcut in the preferences.
The shortcut for moving the cursor in different durations in RNA (CMD+1-9), doesn't work, even if it is set in the preferences.
For the hairpins the typical shortcuts <> don't work, in the manual they appear as the correct shortcuts. But it seem that ; and : are the correct shortcuts.
Is there somewhere a list of not working shortcuts, to have a better orientation. It's quite cumbersome to check all shortcuts to guarantee flawless score-writing lessons.

Whether they work or not depends on Operating System and keyboard layout.
Also, when comming from 4.0.0 or 4.0.1 to 4.0.2, you should revert to factory settings or at least locate and remove shortcuts.xml, for some fixes to shortcuts to take effect

I'm on MacOs Ventura 13.3, but have same problems on my older Mac (Mojave 10.14.6).
The shortcuts.xml you suggested to cancel seems not to exist on my mac. I tried to revert to factory settings but it doesn't help.
Let's wait for the next update ;-)

shortcuts.xml sure does exist, check ~/Library/Application\ Support/MuseScore/MuseScore4/

Found the shortcuts.xml and removed it, but nothing changed.
Who knows, maybe it's the operating system which creates these bugs.

Or the keyboard laypout.
But yes, keyboard shortcuts are quite messy with Mu4 and there are still a bunch of open issues
