MuseScore 4.0.2 Randomly Glitchy in Playback

Hello, I basically explained the problem in the title, but I'll provide a little more detail. Whenever I open MuseScore to work on one of my scores, it will either be really buggy in playback, or completely smooth in playback. I don't believe it is affected by what other applications I have opened because it's been glitchy without any thing open, and with tons of stuff open. Along with being perfectly fine with tons open, and nothing else opened. I am really confused as to why this is happening. Also, it could be with how many parts are on the score, since it usually performs better when there's less parts present. But as previously mentioned, even the scores with lots of parts are hit or miss. Any suggestions are very much appreciated!
