Notes made in range, but aren't played ERROR
Hello,
In this file attatched, I've changed the Professional and Amature Ranges in "Horns in F". Even after changing the ranges, the red notehead just became black and note is still not played.
The "Play" in properties pannel is checked. How to Fix it?

It may be that your soundfont doesn't have those notes. It goes up to C7 on my system running MS Basic sounds, not MuseHub.

To be clear: it has all the range you want, if you choose appropriate sounds. If Muse Sounds goes go high or low enough, try MS Baisc or another soundfont, or a VST. But MuseScore itself has no problem with notes as high or low as you might want.

Exactly. In MS Basic higher notes are playable. In MS4 (with Muse Sounds) not.

As explained previously, indeed, Muse Sounds only contains samples for notes that were actually playable by the musicians who they sampled. It does not "fake" higher notes through digital manipulation of the samples of playable notes. If you desire digitally manipulated samples to simulate higher notes, simply switch to a soundfont, which do indeed generally fake things in this way.
