Hi hats sound bad in YouTube export

Hi everyone,

I was trying to re-export a score using the "export to YouTube" option, and I noticed that hi hats sound a lot worse now than they used to in the past. They sound like they've undergone some extreme audio compression. For comparison, here's the video I exported today: https://youtu.be/LOLUEg4rYr0

It's not isolated to this score either. I'm actually trying to publish a different score, but it has the exact same issue with bad hi hat sounds. I just happen to have a before/after comparison available for this one.
